Jump ahead thirteen years and that passion hasn't faded away. I discovered that the universe made me to document life’s moments... those moments that have yet to happen, big or small. What started as simply capturing my own life with family and intimate friends has expanded to me stepping out of my comfort zone, crossing paths with amazing souls, and documenting their stories as they are written out in front of me. I cannot say how lucky I am to call this not only my job, but hands down the best decision my thirteen year old self made.

At the age of twelve, I stumbled upon a box of old family photographs, each capturing generations of stories. My grandfather, the one who documented a majority of these images, sat with me for hours as he shared the stories behind those moments frozen in time. I thought to myself, "I want to experience this with my grandkids one day." That box of photographs and my grandfather played a pivotal role in my decision to ask for my own camera on my thirteenth birthday, and quickly, that camera sparking my passion for photography.
